Tisket Tasket a Wooden Bottom Basket – Camp Yarnsie Workshop.

Workshop time: 3:00 – 5:00 EST

Together we will work to create either a knit or crochet a wooden bottom basket. We all can use a little more storage, or another basket to store projects or other items is, with this workshop will receive a square wooden basket bottom, and a knit or crochet pattern, along with the guidance to help you make a basket. During the two hour workshop you are able to interact with the ladies of Wild Stitchers, as we create together.

Prerequisite Skills Needed:

Crochet basket: Need to know how to chain, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch

Knit basket: Need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off

Supplies Needed For Class:

Prior to class participants will need the following:

• Purchase the Basket Kit from Wild Stitchers, which includes the Pattern and the Wooden Basket Bottom (Price $12.00)
• Yarn – T-shirt yarn or other bulky yarn (you can use one or multiple colors for your basket it is up to you)
• (Crochet Basket Option) Hook – J/10
• (Knit Basket Option) 32″ Circular Needle – US10 or US 10.5 Circular Needle
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
