Wraps Per Inch (WPI) tool is for yarn spinners, knitters and crocheters and is used to determine the weight of yarn.

For yarn spinners, this tool is used to determine what weight of yarn has been spun. For knitters and crocheters, this tool is used for both identifying yarns in your stash that you may have lost the information for as well as helping you determine if one yarn can be used as a substitution for another yarn.

We put all of our gauges/guides/tools on a small ball chain so you are able to attach them to your project/fiber bag and always have them close at hand.

This tool is made from baltic birch plywood that is sanded ultra-smooth so it won't snag your yarn or fiber, or colored acrylic that has writing paint filled for easier readability
